Presented by the City of Fort Collins’ Cultural Services Department, the Fort Collins Artist Studio Tour and Sale is a free self-guided tour of local artist studios revealing the mysteries of the creative process to families and individuals in and around Fort Collins. Through art demonstrations and educational displays right in the artists' studios, visitors will meet the artists, buy original artworks, and learn about how and where artists create pottery, jewelry, photography, painting, sculpture, fiber arts, and more. The included artists reflect the amazing, creative talent right in our own community. ART GALLERY EXHIBIT
October 15-26 Wednesdays through Sundays 12pm to 6pm
The Center for Creativity is located at 200 Mathews St, Fort Collins, CO 80524-2817
There will be a Studio Tour Exhibit at the Center for Creativity that features work from each studio. Katie has entered one of her latest oil paintings titled “Maroon Bells” (see below). The exhibit will be juried and features four awards. Please vote for your favorite painting from The People’s Choice Award category, October 15th through the 17th from 12pm to 6pm at The Center for Creativity.
Opening reception and awards night
Friday October 17 6-8pm
Attend the Opening Reception on Friday, October 17, 6:00–8:00 PM at the Center for Creativity. Exhibit prizes will be awarded at the Opening Reception. Please be there to support Katie Hemphill and other artists and show your appreciation for the generosity of the Jason and Lucy Greer Foundation for the Arts and other sponsors. Please invite friends, family, and collectors. There will be hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar, and the award winners will be announced.
