We offer drawing and painting classes in these mediums: Graphite pencil, pigma micron ink pen,
pastel, acrylic, watercolor, and water-soluble oils. Each student works at their own pace and level
in their choice of medium based on the programs provided through an individualized teaching method.
Classes are taught through a progressive program using specific
projects to teach basic through advanced fundamentals and techniques.
All introduction classes begin with a core guideline of the color wheel, shapes, highlights
& shadows, and how to use the medium, art supplies and tools to achieve the desired results.
Our Northern Colorado studio offers a comfortable, judgment-free zone to encourage your creativity to flow.

Adult Color Blending Workshop (age 13+)
We look forward to you joining us for some creative fun, sweets, and refreshments as we explore the color blending workshop.
In this workshop we will explore blending colors in water-soluble oils, acrylics, watercolors, or chalk pastels. Starting with a basic color wheel and expanding to blending techniques to create different shades, tones, and colors. Discover how to use just the 3 primary colors to create a variety of shades and progressing through secondary to tertiary colors, all the way to unique tones and colors such as eggplant, burgundy, lime, skin tones, etc. Find out what happens when white and black is used verses colors. Understanding opposite colors on the color wheel and creating warm and cool tones.

We are also working on creating a texture and techniques workshop for each medium that will include how to make different types of: Clouds, trees, bushes, water, human eyes and skin, animal fur, etc., and much more. This will be announced and posted for registration early 2023.
Launching in 2023 is an advanced blending workshop focusing on blending skin tones for human bodies including shading, midtones, and highlights.

1.5-hour and 2-hour classes available for morning adult class times.
Afternoons:
4:30-5:30 pm Monday - Thursday
5:30-6:30 pm Monday - Thursday
1-hour & 2-hour classes available for afternoons & evenings
Monthly tuition $ 110.00 (1-hour class per week)
